Lawrence works with organisations when the people decision is too important to get wrong.
Profile
He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a member of the Institute of Directors, with executive leadership, board-facing, consultancy and independent scrutiny experience across energy, professional services, charities, education, healthcare and other complex environments.
His work combines employment-law awareness, procedural fairness, commercial judgement and practical organisational delivery. He advises chief executives, trustees and senior leaders on workplace investigations, employee relations, restructuring, settlement strategy, governance and material people risk.
Lawrence is known for calm judgement, clear communication and the ability to challenge constructively while maintaining trust through sensitive or contested situations.

Selected experience
Lawrence has built HR functions, supported rapid organisational growth, led high-risk employee relations work, advised boards and executives through significant change and delivered practical frameworks for organisations without substantial senior in-house HR capacity.
Board and public-interest work
Alongside executive and consultancy work, Lawrence has served as a Non-Executive Director and provides independent scrutiny within the Thames Valley Police public-scrutiny framework. This experience informs an approach that tests evidence, proportionality, fairness, governance and public confidence rather than viewing a people issue through an HR lens alone.
Outside the office
Lawrence's wider interests include technology, open-source intelligence, organisational risk, archaeology and the design of evidence-led systems. He is supported by Skip, the Chief Entertainment Officer, whose remit is considerably less formal.
